I need a chipper. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? I'm only donig 1-2 jobs a week, if that, and I give away anything over 3". I'm looking at the Patriot Pro-Series Model CSV-3090H
9 hp Gas Wood Chipper Shredder

any suggestions?

If you're looking to use a chipper more than a couple of times a YEAR, I would definitely go bigger! Even for stuff under 3", some branches can get really gnarly and you would spend a lot of time cutting them up to get them through that little thing. Go with a commercial 6" chipper and you will be much happier. Either disk or drum depending on your safety/speed preference would do the job. A good used 6" drum can be found for under $5k.

I have a bandit 200+ for sale if you're interested. It might sound like overkill to you but, it would make quick work of any gnarly brush and wouldn't require any further limbing like that smaller patriot machine would. Check out the trading post if interested.
