Cicadas?

Haven't seen any posts about this yet? Noone else get them?
Not sure it relates to this forum except for the calls I've been getting wanting to know if we have netting or spray to kill them or why there's a bunch of dead leaves on their trees.
They're gone now but alot of dead tips hanging down, was pretty neat while it lasted.

Little tree, big trees, healthy , sick , didn't seem to matter. Though they seemed to really like the oaks. It might only seem like that because the tips broke off easier when the wind or rain picked up?

They were pretty loud here (west central Indiana), though not as loud as last time the big wave hit.  Over at my buddy's 100 acres of woods it was absolutely deafening a couple weeks ago.
