We purchased a fiddle block a few years back & it's one of the things I wished I had bought many many years ago. Best $300 & change I've spent in a LONG time. Thinking of purchasing a come-along, do y'all use them much for tree work (felling) & if so, is either one of the below good or should I purchase a different one or a rope puller? Have 2 POS come-alongs at the shop for stuff around there but they don't go out on the trucks...

Thanks in advance!

Hey CB,

Which Fiddle Bloock did you buy/using? I've been thinking about picking one up myself.

I have used one of these for about a year now. hard to live without it. pulled some heavy back leaning cottonwood trees over on a lake with it this winter. best bang for your buck short of an electric or hydraulic winch. i have been contemplating buying them gas powered portable capstain winches for a year now too. we do a lot of lake shore steep bank removals
