LOL, This thread is turning out to be too funny!

Just so's you'll know, I'm a biggun as well. Hey, what can I say, I make good money and eat well. If I had to live off of kipper snacks and blood pudding I'd prolly be as skinny as our mad dog Englishman...

Hell yeah man... #### lets start our own Fat Tree Climbers Association. F.A.T.

Fat Association of Tree climbers. Here in Ct you can only LEGALLY do removals with out an arborist license so its not like I am losing work or money because I am pruning too slow. I just dont prune. When I do get my license which may be soon I guess Ill have to buy a bucket.

Diets are for quitters.

No problem.

By the way, just got me a 330T, and opened the exhale a tad. Screams. Sharp chain makes it a bad little devil. Question though, what kind of chain do you use? I'm thinking 3/8 Low pro, but not sure how long it'll last, no real dirt though for it to get chewed...

I am running a 14 on my 330T but dont use it all that much and your right it goes pretty good for an inexpensive saw. I run all stihl chains. Just be careful if you pinch that saw you may find an issue with the chain tensioner if you horse it around too much. If you find an issue with it not tightening pm me Ill tell you an easy fix. Oh yeah get rid of the safety chain it comes with.

Thanks for the heads up with the pinching. I'm real careful now after F-ing up 2 tension screws on my PM610. I only run the stihl chains as well. I ditched the safety crap first thing. I never use them. I was just curious what type of chain you use though, square chisel, or round, or what. BTW, just pulled the trigger on (2) 192ts. $180 a piece. :D

Thanks,

Jeff

Pics look good .
Agree with treemd on the climbline going around the main trunk though.
Plus you can get more height that way [only need a 1or 2 inch branch coming off the trunk to tie into if you go around the trunk.]

Would I have to pay membership or union dues to join the F.A.T. club?

I'm up to 205 wich is usually my holiday weight ,and I drop 20 -25 lbs by Feb.
Haven't had enough work or warm weather to do that yet this year.
Still manage to git-r- done when the need arrises though.

interesting.

the tree in the bottom picture id dismantle in 40 mins or have it down in 3 cuts missing the power lines and fell the stem if clear other wise cut and chuck within 45 mins....

how long will it take the next poor bastard to fix the damage you caused ?

doesn't sound like you'd save any one anything.

I carry them up sometimes.

He's the fat one in the orange. :hmm3grin2orange:

It did look like fc had a tuflex sling hanging off him in one pic. not sure what that was about.

I use them as chokers when so inclined.I didn't need it but if I didn't take it up,I would want it.It was on my saddle from the day before and I was too lazy to take it off.

Ah man the visual image of you lowering me down with the tuflex around my mid section was priceless man... You should have run with it.

Ya, sorry, reading back I could've been more specific. The safety chains. I'll try and be more clear next time.

I love my brake too much to get rid of that. That's a tool in itself.

God bless,

Jeff
