I'm about to reassemble my first saw rebuild, a 011av. My question is do I lube the roller bearings in the case halves with grease before installing the crank or do they get lubed by the pre-mix? Also, is there a PDF of a service manual to this saw?

Just a light oil - like mix oil... no grease.. yes, service manuals are available, but it as before PDF, unless someone has scanned one.

Someone has. There was one on Gifts of Wood site before it was got at. Therefore probably on the Ebay CDs.

Light coating of "assembly" oil is recommended. Marvel Mystery Oil has always served me very well in this regard with both 2- and 4-strokes. It'll smoke a bit on start-up, but should clear quickly. Check with you local dealer, as he or she may have something that they recommend, especially with all the new synthetic oils on the market....
