So I just got the seals for my 044 today and I was wondering if anybody had tips on putting the seals on. I heard it's tricky, but I was wondering if it's very hard if the bearings aren't in the case. And do I need to grease the bearings before I put them back in the case. Thanks. Evan

Take a look at somebum's thread on installing 044 seals. No, don't grease the bearings, just use a quality assembly lube like straight two-cycle oil.

You don't put the seals in before the bearings or the crank... They are last. Are you reading your service manual?
