I’ll have to just eyeball the pic and compare it to a 590 bar, just to see. I haven’t gone out to the shed but the Archer bar and the TsuMura bar appear to have the oil hole in the same location.
Just wait, it’ll get worse. I joined and owned just 1 saw.I actually just ordered a new oregon powermatch bar and a few 70dl lgx chains prior to hearing about this TsuMura 72dl bar..
I'm probably returning the Oregon bar/chains, and going to order up that TsuMura so I can run locally available stihl 72dl yellow chain...
Man, this place is already costing me and I literally just joined..
As long as the oil is going down the bar to prevent excessive heat don’t sweat it.Speaking of, is oiling a bar through the bar adjustment any issue other than having to adjust the oiling system up or down?
Big mess, less effective etc??
Some bars dont have oil access through the adjuster. It depends on the model. But some are designed to oil through the adjuster.Speaking of, is oiling a bar through the bar adjustment any issue other than having to adjust the oiling system up or down?

I can make loops of whatever drivers ya need ... STIHL RS chain ... it’s very durable and the metal/chrome used is far superior to the others ...I've got a CS-590 that I got for pretty cheap. Looking for chain recommendations. I cut a small amount for firewood during the winter and while camping. Looking at the Oregon PowerCut 72LPX070G chain right now, any better options?
Did someone say ash and barber chair ? LolI've been running Husqvarna large mount bars on my CS-590 and CS-600P. Very slight modifications to the oil supply hole is all that is needed, no issues to date.
I also prefer the Semi-chisel chain to full chisel. The slight loss in cutting performance is made up for in much longer cutting performance in dirty material without sharpening. Most of what we cut here are tops left over from logging operations, and some logs that have been skidded around some, so plenty of dirt in the bark to deal with. We are also left with hundreds of dead Ash trees, and were leaving them in place treating them like "standing firewood".
However, they are starting to drop limbs and come down due to excessive rainfall we've had this year, so we've decided to take all of them down so at least we'll know when they are going to hit the ground. I'll also add here that they are prone to "barber chair", so recommend extreme caution when dealing with them, especially if they are leaning some.........Cliff
