Decomp Valves...Do they help you?

I use the decomp, but the best thing I found is the starter handle from the 460 rescue. No longer start with 2 fingers, elasto or not, I use the whole hand. Makes it a lot easier. I use 'em on anything bigger than the ms360.

The Elastostart came standard on my FS-80, and I think my 3 year old neice could start it no problem. I imagine Elastostarts for my saws in the near future.

My Ms440 has the Elastostart and a Decomp valve. I can tell you I have to grip the starter rope real tight, or it will rip your fingers off when it kicks back.
