Do conifers show growth rings?

I really can't recall either way, no or yes.

The book says they are nonporous wood without the vessels like the hardwoods have, and it's in the same text as the text about growth rings. I assume they don't have clearly defined rings, or why would this writer make it relevant.

Maybe I can get that info here, so I don't have to go drop one. ;)

Those redwood growth rings are a mess! Here in Georgia, the growth rings on Loblolly or longleaf pines are about 1/4" apart.
