I just got my son's football schedule- 9/20 at 9.30.

Herm, how far are you from Macon? Macon is about 2.5hrs from here.

By mapquest it seems to be 55-60 miles between Concord and Macon.

On a good note, my son(8) will get to come with me. We've decided to wait for some of the wrestling tournaments later in the fall instead of these coming right up. He likes saws. I love him.

Nmurph, we're an hour from Macon. There will be plenty of food left. We'll have enough meat to feed a small army. We'll go until dark so you should have several hours of play time. If your son is like my boys, he'll sleep in the vehicle...

My son never sleeps. I have to beat him to get him in bed. Thankfully he's not to hard to get up in the mornings. I think my brother may come, not sure about the son. II can promise him a stop at BPS in Macon and he'll be all in.

I just was at the Bass Pro in Macon. Got two pairs of shoes they had on sale. We stopped to get some additional gator tackle on the way down to Darien.

Warpig6 and I made a couple of log racks today for cookie cutting. Hope to have about five of them with different sized wood on each one. The future ones should go a bit faster now that the engineering is accomplished.
