Gypo you have a good point , i know our oregon chain is made here in Ontario, maybe the oregon chain made in the states is not as good cause i have heard alot of times that there chain is alot softer, for me i would sooner run 73 LG than the rest and as far as for racing chains , i know alot of guys like carlton but i sooner use oregon cause the outside corner of the tooth is better to me

i have found that carlton chain has the best working corner in stock lo-pro 3/8. the chain in my pic is laser that has had some special modifications done. notice the back of the cutter too.

On my list of saw chain at my friend's shop, I have listed Oregon 77LG 3/8 .058 gauge Full chisel lo pro. Old stuff to be sure. Part of a bunch of chain that came with a used grinder. I need to drag it out to verify it's existence. Maybe tomorrow. We'll see.

In any case, I don't have much of it.

Can you spare a 64 drive link loop of the 77LG? I've been looking for a loop of that stuff for a while. Send me a PM.
