The stump took around 35 minutes to grind. The roots fell over at 24 minutes, my dad knew it was going to fall but he wanted to make a vid of it falling and turned his back, I said its falling and over it went.

I got some vid of the machine running that will be put up soon. Incase it intrests any of yall.

ha funny that lumber jack i had a similar job ,stump was hanging out of a bank,my stump sub couldnt get it with a 1672 as it wouldnt go high enough,we made a dirt ramp and got it with a rg50 as you would know its engine is stationary.

Hmm we have an RG50 as well, I am not sure what you mean by the engine is stationary.

It took a 40hp 4wd tractor to pull the grinder back, and then some more work getting the piece off the top of the cutterhead.

My website is a work in progress, nothing really to show right now, but its www.rutherfordstumpservice.com

i hire an rg50 of a colleague from timw to time, his one doesnt have the scraper on the back though, neat idea....is that a rayco part?

Its called a backfill blade (just another name for it:)) and the machine in the picture is an RG 85. The Super RG50 comes with a blade, I am not sure about the standard RG50, I dont think it does.

The blade has always been on the RG85, that machine is 4.5 years old and has around 1300 hours on it I do believe.
