Dolmar 111 guide bar studs.

Searched the forums and didn't find much about this particular model Dolmar 111.

Does anyone know if guide bar studs on a Dolmar 111 are threaded in, or pressed in?
What's the proper/easiest way to replace stripped out bar studs?

I'm looking to buy one that the seller says, "the stud itself spins round and round when you put the nut on and try to tighten it".

It's an M8 threaded stud. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/gudgeon-8x30-p-79675.html

Just depends once you get your hands on it. Most can fixed using a helicoil or similar. Stihl also makes an oversized repair stud p/n 1115 664 2405 that's an M10.

Bought the Dolmar today.
The man's late father had replaced the stripped stud with a new longer one.
I think he drilled and tapped the hole, no signs that he used a heli coil or JB Weld.
The nut goes on so far that it misses most of the threads. I think I'll just "jam nut" it and see how it functions.
Now all I need is the missing top cover for it.
I'll post pics when I get a chance.
