I need a new saw, cutting hardwood tops after loggers for firewood.
most tops around 18"-20" at their base, will be using the saw alot.
the 5100 seems like a stellar saw in it's class but I think I might be over loading it in the bigger cuts?
the 6400 is also in my mind, more cc's less strain on the saw but it is heavier.
there is nothing worst than having a saw too small for what your doing, except maybe lugging around a big saw for nothing!!
the home depot 6401 seems like a great deal too.
any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks
