Actually, if it anything like the 420 was, I can get them in Germany from my friends there about a year before they are available here. Now that the Euro is falling, it might be more affordable.

Going to the Dolmar Germany site... "motorsagen"... Doh! Not there yet.

The cases are magnesium not aluminum.

Steve

I am actually sorry to hear that, as it means that a 4200S will not be much lighter, if at all........:censored:

Exaggregating a bit here - as I suspected it was that way - LOL

The question was: "does the 460 have a plastic case?"
I answered: "Crankcase? No, it's aluminum."

Steve said: "The cases are magnesium not aluminum."

Probably a oversight

That's the way I took that too..... :givebeer:

For Norwegians?

if norwegians prefer to read english language test reports on the (german) website of the (german) forest engineering association....(and we all know at least one norwegian that does...) then yes... that is english for norwegians

Yes, we do! :hmm3grin2orange:

Steve (166) Are you saying the PS-460 has a mag case?

No, he isn't - he is saying that the 420 has one.

I thought you were talking the 420.

The PS341,401,350,420,5100,6400,7300,7900,9010 and older models have Magnesium Cases.

The PS460 & PS510 have Aluminum Cases.
