Hi,
As for driving, I live in Germany which many will know has mostly no speed limit on the Autobahn/Freeway/Motorway and when driving at speeds over 210kph/130mph or when driving quickly through the Harz Mountains with frequent gear changes etc. then I find the driving school 10 and 2 gives the best control. It may not look cool but it does work.

bye
I think anyone driving a manual transmission at 130mph through the Harz Mountains will look pretty cool, regardless of where their hands are.

I like the between the legs start.
I have tried the on the ground pull, and honestly, that seems to be one great way to pull your back, as well as the cord.

hahaha, pile on all ya like, I'm used to it. Fact is I said I do indeed drop start but I "don't promote it". As for Red taking a handle up in the "family jewels" I'd be glad to teach him how to drop start to avoid that. As I said I'm not bending over all day to start saws. I'm not hooking my leg around the handle all day either. If its scary to ya stay on the porch, I'll start the saws, lol

Stay on the porch, No way you told me thats where you and your 441 sit and chew the fat about Jonsereds.
If your drop starting saws in front of Newbes Then "your promoting it".
I'm not afraid of learning safty.

No Sir I'm a action type of man. I've drop started my saws for years.
But cutting wood alone I like to find safer ways of doing things.
That ole rocking sounds nice but I would fall asleep and seems you would go out and sell my saw. No sir I will start my own.:)

Holiday weekend.......no work.......no saw running!!!

Plus with the high winds a needed a good paper weight. The 441 is great for that!:monkey:

What, high winds, holidays, so what. I sawed up a few tree's yesterday and pole pruned a 250 yard long driveway. I have to admit running the pole prunner for a few hours left me going ouchhhhhhhhhh in the arms later on. I got a big blister on the inside of my thumb using that thing, I'm going to sue Stihl for pain and suffering, grrrrrrrrrrr

I missed my nap but I'm better now.

The SOB next door was milling logs in his driveway with an 066 this afternoon!

Can't blame you for being grumpy over that, its a holiday, day of rest and relaxtion.
