I love my 355T... opened the exhaust, popped the carb limiters and opened up the air intake a bit and it's a monster.

BUT...

I've been having issues with the chain jumping off the bar, and I like to think I keep them pretty tight. I feel that the Low Profile chain isn't a tolerant to being torqued on.
Is there a bar and chain option to put standard profile chain on the 355T? I'm running Oregon 91VXL052G with the factory 14" bar.

I doubt the fact that it's 3/8 LP chain is your problem. Is the bar or chain worn? Are you running it horizontally cutting brush? That's the only time I've thrown a chain on my 14" Echo. The best chain option in 3/8 LP is Stihl PS or PS3. Less chatter than the Oregon 91 chain.

Most likely you have a 7 tooth nose bar with little curvature. A bar with more curve in the rails would be my first suggestion. A 3005 Stihl one with a lengthened slot would be a possibility they seem to have a different shape.

It is possible to get into a rim drive and run .325 nk but the oiling drive needs some ingenuity as the kits are really for earlier models that oil at idle. Going to 1/4 pitch with the small drive links is worse.

The rear handle variant 361p comes with an 9 tooth nose essentially pro lite 91 Oregon bar that Oregon now has replaced with an aluminum core model.

It's a two-month-old saw that I run on-call on weekends... Yes, it obviously hops off on ground-clearing brush at times, but most recently I was cutting some maple sticks off an uprooting and it did it again, and broke a drive link as well.
I'll give that Stihl chain a try when I need some more... just ordered one off Amazon and they sent 3... winner winner!

The slot on a stihl bar just needs to be machined a little longer?
Same chain can be run through it?
