If you leave the lube tank filled with oil you find it has leaked out when the saw is not in use. As time permit's I plan to look for cracked tank? Could there be a check valve or something else dirty or broken? The saw does pump bar oil when running.It would be easy enough to flush pump system with solvent and blow-out with air. I'm a small engine Fowley-Belsaw want to be trying to get ready in case another storm come's Flordia's way.Thanks ahead of time.

Does the tank empty itself or just "mark its territory"? Most saw owners manuals will tell you it's normal for some oil to leak out when the saw sits unused.

my 3450 leaks a little oil in storage but does not "empty the tank". The feed is adjustable...is your adjustment wide open?
