Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a CS-400 that has gotten some serious use and a bit of abuse, and along the way the throttle trigger broke. Picked up the new switch from dealer, removed the old, and put in the new. Now, the problem is the little orange throttle lockout/safety switch that has to be depressed to unlock the throttle. For the life of me, I CANNOT figure out how the heck these 3 simple parts go together! I'm no expert mechanic, but own 3 saws, do all my own auto maintenance, install HVAC systems and so on. I'm a little ashamed to admit I've spent 2 hours, and still can't get it to interlock correctly.
Does anyone have any advice?
It's the yellow circled parts. Switch is pinned in, spring in on, but can't get it to overlay and link up. HALP.
PS - this is what i'm trying to do, but it just doesn't work so easily...
