Echo CS 501P first impression

Ive had both a German made Dolmar 421 and the China Makita 4300. They are indistinguishable save for words printed on the saw. If the Makitas are actually made in China and not just assembled there, I bet all the machinery was shipped there from Germany.

What I don’t like about them is the LP chain and the lack of high quality bars available for them. The spur sprocket can be replaced with a rim sprocket.

The 501p that I’m thinking of buying is a 50cc saw that weighs slightly less. Anyone know if bars with replaceable noses are available for it?

K095 small mount husky bars fit, but might need a slight mod to the oiler hole. K041 and A041 mounts should work as is.
