Very odd how the Bloomsburg Fair works. They have good shows but very little communication and advertising. My dealer is about 10 minutes from the grounds. Said he got a last minute invite and very little info. Didn't even know what to bring to set up.

They usually have a pretty good gun show every year too.

My fiancé went to blooms so I was up there to visit every other weekend, I'd bring my guns and we'd shoot and I'd come up for the fair every year. I checked out the tractors and implements. I was always suprised that there was only 1 guy there that sold chainsaws. I follow woodmizer on Instagram and just happened on the post they put up from the last show ( saw the post 2 days late) I wouldn't have even known it existed if I didn't see that. As a vendor I'd want a little bit more hype for my money. If your dealer is 10 minutes down the road and he didn't even know about it, I doubt a lot of other people knew about it.

As far as gunshows go, I live ~30 minutes away from where the oaks gun show is. Usually ~1000 tables, 2 shows a year are 2500 tables. This weekend is the show actually!

Woodmizer had about 8 mills at the show. A few other brands too. It was a really good show. I just question the leadership of the fair. I think the same promoter does the Bloomsburg and Oaks gun show. I was just blown away by the equipment at the logging show. High dollar stuff that took quite an effort to transport. Wish they would've done a better job advertising to help the vendors out and bring more people to the event. I only live in Berwick and I usually hear about events by word of mouth.

Well, at least I know now. I was pretty pissed I missed the first one, but I have it on the calendar for 2019. I'm thinking about going to Vermont this year (2018). We will see what happens I suppose.

I didn't realize this year was the first for the show. Maybe I'll see about a trip to the VT show. Nice to know it'll be back here in '19.

I was looking at entry level processors. The Dyna SC12 looked great but now I'm leaning towards the Lil Beaver 13...it is around $10,000. Both have manual pull-down for the bar. I need a processor that will pick up the logs. The Lil Beaver has a shuttle deck but the price is about $3000 less than the Dyna. Their next step up, the Lil Beaver 16 has the belt in-feed and is much faster but the log lift is an option and the price quickly goes up to $16,000.

The Lil Beaver 13 seems to have a smaller footprint and looks more maneuverable around my yard...fit in my barn better etc.

Does anyone have any experience with the Wood Beaver?

for you PA guys the Keystone farm show in York will have Dyna products and Wood-Mizer there. here's the link.http://keystonefarmshow.com/ i went a few years ago and did see a few processors running there. this runs the same time as the farm show in harrisburg.
Thanks for the info Steve.
