The plot itself is about 60 acres, but I'd really only need about 5 acres of it cleared. It's on pretty hilly land, maybe a bit steep in places, but other places aren't too bad. I believe it's mostly ash and beech trees. There are some old logging roads running through the area, and those tend to be kinda wet, but the rest of the land isn't super wet. Any estimates for how much it would cost for it to be cleared?

What if it has gold? Do we call the Hoffmans!

All kidding aside, if ya cant tell, we need way more info to give you any help. Pics and specs.

Around here land/lot clearing goes for $3,000-5,000 a day: five acres, hilly/steep ground maybe 4-5 days.

Good numbers for clearing.
Bump up for bridging water or building access rds.
Heavy stumping and grind could run up the numbers more.
Good Brookie fishing could lower costs alot

There's some company who worked in my area who clears and stumps land for $3400 an acre apparently. They do have a minimum of 10 acres. They have these huge crazy komatsus and bring in a tub grinder

That's a good number. if the OP got the 5 acres cleared of stumps for 15k that'd be doin good. 5ac chipped and stump ground is a big pile fiber to look over. compost no.
Make a nice back stop for shootin, tho.

(Not intending to drag that cordaroy shootin range road thread in by the short hairs, ha ha. that was a running train wreck among the best.)
