Many of us have learned the hard way about what happens when a clutch comes off, usually after blipping the engine to high rpm and the clutch keeps on spinning when the engine decelerates, unscrews itself and hits the floor. Truly amazing what a little round puck will do when it hits the floor at about 10,000 rpm. Most of mine is still in the weeds on the other side of the street.
Been there done that. Called school of hard knocks. And when you forget to tighten an outboard clutch and it comes off and goes across the parking lot, you realize how fast it will travel.
