I got my 310 and love the crap out of it. I also proformed some mod work to it. Cuts very fast and so on. I want a smaller saw with the same power or more, dont care if its a stihl or whatever.... well just to piss of sap I love stihls best saw in the world. lol Thanks guys.
The MS361 is the obvious choise!

More power, less weight, less vibrations - and simply a much nicer saw to handle. :rockn: :rockn:

Where is sap? He's ben sighted once recently, but didn't stay. Surely he hasn't run out of stuff to mouth off about?
:censored: Why ask for him?

He has ruined enough potensially good treads here as it is, with good help from those most eager to comment on his posts......

Hey Niko, please let it go...
Sap has upset nearly everyone on this forum. Now that the boys have caught him finally in a tight spot, let them have some fun. No harm done. They have earned it.
I find it very amusing most of the time
take care,

Actually I think his knowledge of Stihl saws is a little lacking.

That statement is so far off, it's almost troll-esque. I remember back when I was a noob here, I asked a question in open forum about an 044 and Lakeside took it upon himself to email me off-site and litterally inundate me with information and personal knowledge...all just to help out a guy he didn't even know. He's nothing short of one of this site's most valuable members, and a friend of mine.

Standing up for Sap is one thing. A little off, but OK. Personally insulting Andy like that, not cool.

Welcome to AS. :buttkick:

whats a good price on the 361????

10% less than list is a good price, but many dealers wont go there. So a 20 inch 361 that retails for 589 (PNW), ah... heck, it's early, you do the math.

Trade in your MS310, or, do a deal with the dealer and just buy the MS361 power head and put your 310's old bar/chain on it.

You definatly havent been around here much. I too will take a stand for Lake, he has helped me with problems numerous times. He isnt lacking on anything. He even provided pics for me one time to help me fix a problem. If you are gonna bash someone, know who you are bashing first.:buttkick:

Ok what if i want to send the 361 to get it modded or should i just do a muffler mod? Or the same with a 357xp??? what do you guys think?

I'm not a modded saw guy, but that's because I don't own one. I am a muffler mod guy. The 361 responds really well to simple muffler mods. I started a thread about the one I did, and there's a couple of others as well. There's a couple of guys on here that professionally modded 361's, and they love them. Search around a bit, and you'll see those guys. Get ahold of them and they can tell you their first hand experiences.

Me, a muffler mod turned mine into a whole new saw. If I need more than that, well, I pick up a bigger saw!

Go ahead and "piss me off". Buy a 026. I would if I was a Stihl fan. Heck, even the 025 doesn't look like a bad saw (if you're a Stihl fan that is).

How's that for 'advice'?

Don't let the herd tell you you haven't been here long enough to know what is going on. You pretty well got it right and I've been around long enough to know.
True you have been around a long time. Long enough to know full well Lake knows saws like the back of his hand. If you want to crawl in the sack with the so called know it all's like the tomahawk maker and this new breed that just arrived help yourself. Just remember when you make that bed you lay in it. Seems to me since you have been around so long you would know better.

Hows the garden Sugar?

Hey ole Sugar hows the garden coming along. Haven't seen you in awhile. Last time we spoke we we're arguing over schit for the garden , remember, lololololol. Speaking of that there's plenty to go around in here, just make sure you get the good stuff, lololol

Hey thall, havn't been on here much lately, been busy with garden, lake place, getting the house finished, and a little chainsaw work. when i was getting caught up on the latest i was thinking of the *** thats being spread and could use some on the garden, but it's probably contaminated and would ruin the hole damn garden. this is funny stuff.
