The Redneck Method

1. Boil some water...use a big stockpot/turkey fryer pot
2. Get the biggest funnel that will fit into th PEX
3. Pour the water into the funnel/pipe (be CAREFUL!!)
4. Tie a rope across where the bend is to get ti to stay in position

That's how I did my bend on 1"...was able to fit it thru the crawlspace access door.

You shouldn't have too much trouble with your PEX-AL-PEX. I uncoiled 200 ft of it yesterday. I think it was 15 - 20° F. The aluminum layer makes it pretty much like handling copper except its stiffer. Once you have it shaped the way you want it, it stays.

I wish regular PEX was that way!..I've bent my fair share of "L" copper tho!
