I was working on one of my other hobbies this morning, cleaning up around this place! I was loading up scrap to go to the local junkyard when something caught my eye.

It's a combination recoil/bar oil tank/clutch cover off something old. That's all I know about it. The only markings on it are on the oil cap. It simply says: Chain Oiler Cap Use SAE 30

The oiler plunger and recoil are froze from sitting outside for God knows how long, but it seems to be complete and not cracked. I couldn't get the oil cap off by hand either.

It'd be great to get an ID on this, it might be McC, I remember Dad having one when I was young, or who knows?

If someone needs it, I'll be happy to send it down the road for the cost to ship. I'm certain the rest of the saw is long gone from here.

You guys are fast and good!

Remington makes sense, I have a cabinet full of Remington guns, Dad swore by em. It only follows that he'd likely try a Remington saw as well.

Looking through Acres' site, it looks to fit a Bantam, Bantam Special, Super 65 or Super 75. Those were the only 4 RH start models I found.

It's here if someone can use it.

Do you still have that clutch cover? I'm needing one for my Super 75. I'll pay shipping.

JE, I'm pretty sure it is still here. I'll have to double check in the morning. I tried to PM ya, but I'm having some trouble with the site tonight. Shoot me another PM with your address and I'll try to get it going your way on Monday. I'm headed for the IA GTG in the morning, and won't have time to pack it up before I go.
