Going to clear some snow and push these off trailer. Buck then roll over and finish bucking

A 372 would do it, but you just don't have that patience buddy. You should have something bigger at your shelf for those occasions.
Your other machinery suggests there's no limit, a 372 is like a limbing saw on that log. A chainsaw cuts allmost 1/2" away, a bandsaw mill is only a 5th of that.

And you can sell it, or make something of it. I would make something of it.

True true. Im not super interested in making money from trees want more dirt machines.

Burned a tank dulled a chain. Running slightly lean down here.

Going to sharpen bump h and keep cutting.

Theres a quick vid of the 372 loading dragging the 32 20221217_154855.jpg

Is that a silver maple?

Huge!

Theres metal in it or its frozen sharpened 4 times already.

No idea what kinda tree, a big one.

Logs that big are hard to mill, have to break them down with a saw before they can fit most mills anyway. Lots of firewood though.

Nice Dodge, can’t beat the looks of a second gen.
Until you put 6 transmissions in one. :) Now with that being said it is a standard or a Cummins with an auto most folks are fine.

At about 200k I worked over the 47re.
The rebuilt trans is going strong knock on wood. Shes also pushing a few more ponies then stock.
I do notice the manual trans seem to drop fail fairly often while well built autos just work.
Some has to do with power no real reason to be more than 400horse unlesd a fuy wants to put 12 clutches and 6 trans in a rig.

This is true. Many years ago I dropped off a huge oak log at a bandsaw manufacturer's plant. They liked logs to practice on and they would give me the wood. My log was 20' long and almost 4 feet in diameter.

They called me up a few days later and begged me to come back and rip it in half. Their machine couldn't cut it up until it was 1/2 the diameter.

A couple years later, they asked me for a big log again, as they were working on making a bigger capacity saw. I don't remember the log I gave 'em, but it wasn't small. Later, they told me my log broke their saw's lift mechanism. I told them to make a stronger lift.

They apparently have! This one will sure slice and dice any log I ever gave them. Also the log that started this thread.
