Why don't you guys blow it out of proportion. Said nothing more than I can get a new one for $600. And I did.
No bashing whatsoever.

Sorry if I mistook you, but to me it seemed you where trying to cut out his sales since you can get one for "$600". Which btw is mad cheap.

Must be a supply and demand thing. I got mine with a 28", dual port muffler ($30) and a full wrap ($50 option) for $700 out the door here. A powerhead for $600 is no problem here.

Same deal here in my neck of the woods, well at least before that stopped stocking them for the new 441's.....

Sorry, already this week I have bought a 084, 066, husky 372 and a shinny 695...no cash left for another saw for a long time.... lol

I think I am under the influence of eggnog. :givebeer:
Brad, I am gonna buy the saw.
You will have a pvt. message in a matter of moments.

I can't take it any longer. The anguish is driving me :dizzy: .

And we Have a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And this story has a happy ending and we can all reast easy!!!! Congrats Patric, I think you got a fine saw

if I wouldnt have bought a new saw already this month I would buy this saw.

For those saying anything bigger then 25" on a 440 is too big... bah I run 25" bars with RS chain on our fleet of 310's and I have a 48" bar on a 460 (under-powered but works for the occasional large piece)

I wanna see that 460 with a 48" bar. Ya don't see 48" bars very often:greenchainsaw:

next time I get it out I will take some pics, I will tell you this.... in a 16" log a MS170 will outrun it

here is a link to the video, he is cutting 24" oak rounds
http://media.putfile.com/Toms-Firewood-Processor

logs come through the infeed conveyor to the 56" carbide tipped circular saw blade and then from there the blanks are conveyed to the splitting station with 2 splitting heads (soon to be 4) and then the split product goes into the pile
