Hey Guys!

What are you guys using for ratio on mixture? My new solo recommends 50:1 on their recommended oil and 25:1 for all other and break in mixture. What about 32:1? Also are any of you guys using Amsol 100% synthetic oil for mix?

Thanks

Dustin

What a great question

There are some great debates here on this site.
Go throught his forum for the debates and discussions.

There are several convincing reasons to go to a 32 or 25 to 1 mixture.

this has been discussed at length.
i would comment that it is set up new for he 50-1 and will no doubt run excellent with that mix. i can see how a logger mite benefit from exstra lub,as they ask for a lot from a saw.. but would think u would need to adjust the carb for it.
read all the search threads given ,then decide for u self . good luck.

Fuel/Oil Ratio

WOW!!!! Thats all I can say to all the debate over what to run. I guess right now I will stick to the recommended mix and be safe for now! You can get pulled both directions with all the info out there.

Thanks a bunch guys

Dustin

I would go at least 32:1 because

If you use the saw under extreme conditions you may burn the piston at the exhaust. Search the strings on here for "burnt piston" I hate to do this to you but why not stay at 32:1? Hate to see you burn a piston.
