If i may add some fuel to the fire (no pun intended) regarding fuel and quality of fuel, I have been reading other postings regarding high Sulphur content fuels sold in the US and Canada and UK that are poor quality and usally sold at supermarket type gas stations. I found it quite interesting the failures that BMW, Audi and Jaguar experienced failure with NIKASIL cylinders and high sulphur content fuels. There is a chemical reaction between Sulphur and Nickel and the nickel broke down and scored the cylinder wall into the Aluminium. What I would like to find out is this going to be a possiblity for NIKASIL cylinders on small two strokes? If so could explain alot.
