Hardwood it makes sure that them termites sharpen their teeth before dining.
I know that the Australian Jarah is even harder closely related to cutting steel.
It needs a chainsaw fitted with an Oxy Acetalene attachment to bring them down.

ha bob, i dont know any logging cos around here using any huskys,in papua you would give them a hard hat and theyd run home with there new bowl LOL. its funny that fosters has any reputation i cant work it out.what other saws you got???

Now only the 3 Mac's and the Twin but then i was never a collector just a silly racer, loved fast women fast cars so why not fast chainsaws, gee i should have squirrelled away some of those old saws that i traded in during the early 80's but i didn't have enough hair on my chest to pick most of them up let alone use them.
The 3 Mac's have Kart engines 91cc can't find my old log book i kept on them now as it detailed all the spec's of these 3 saws. But they used Mac 250 chassis or CP 125 chassis.

If you would post whatever you have into the used equipment forum, I am sure it is a matter of minutes.........

Do you have any video of the old twin to post, that would make my day.
I am sure more than I would like to see that saw in action.

Have been to your site a while back, did you not have links from that site before?

CHAINSAW COLLECTORS CORNER

McCulloch 1-76 frame, McCulloch MC 101 go cart engine, single, large HL
carb. Open expansion chamber ( hurts your ears). Built by Paul Mueller Jr.
Operator Scott Mueller. 3 cuts through 14"-15" poplar in 8 seconds. It's a
real rush to run!

Paul Mueller Sr. running Paul Jr's McCulloch 250 frame with MC 92 go cart
engine. This is a hot little saw, it will make 3 cuts in 14"-15" poplar in
less than 7 seconds with Paul Sr. operating. Paul Sr. built saws like this
for Rapids Distributing in Wisconsin Rapids WI in the late sixties and early
seventies. They could go more radical back then since GEM performance and
McC parts were current production. GEM even made stroker cranks for these
engines, and Paul Sr. used them in his old saws. In the background is Les
Born operating his McC 250 frame with MC 101 engine. This saw has run at
Hayward and has brought home some trophies.

PS I have a gem manifold in stock
