first of all this is my first post. i have been reading your forums for a while and have gotten some great advice from porting my 290 to now sharpening my chaing the "right" way (i hope). anyways to my question:
should i buy a 660 for around $400 to use with a 20" bar?
there is a guy i know and he is selling his 660 for $400 with a 32" bar. i can probably talk him down a bit. good condition less than two years old.
now i have been in need of getting a saw bigger than my 028av and 290. i was looking at getting a 361 of 441 (used) to suit my needs...cutting about 8 hours a week and my 20" bar suits me 90% of the time. i'm not really concerned with the weight as i won't be using it all day and i'm in pretty good shape.
the price sounds about right, i'm thinking if this saw is really too big i could sell it on fleabay and make a few bucks should i need.
also are there any safety concerns with using a saw with this much power for a 20" bar? increased kickback?
thanks
