Gologit Bob and his wife stopped by today headed back to CA. I took them to breakfast at the locals' cafe and we had a good time. Bob and his wife are good people, that is for sure.

They are taking the heat and humidity well; haven't melted yet :msp_biggrin:

And if anyone here takes Bob out to eat, be careful, he'll grab that check and be at the register faster than you can fire up a saw

He probably won't see this until he gets back home, but have a safe trip Bob, enjoyed meeting ya!

Yeah he seem like a pretty good take no BS kinda guy and tells it like it is, nothing wrong with that.

Hey Jameson...it was good meeting you. Did you know you have an accent? :msp_biggrin:

And that breakfast was great. We really enjoyed it. Good food, good conversation...can't beat that.
You might want to wait a while before you go back in there. I walked the check. :msp_wink:

Best of luck...talk to you again.

Did you plaster mud over his CA license plate? :msp_biggrin: So as not to be seen with Callyfornians? :)

Or, is Texas accepting of all out of staters?

I have to say that, without exception, everyone we met down there was real mellow and friendly. Maybe the heat and humidity keeps them on the straight and narrow.

Yep I noticed that about them Californians quick to pick up the tab. My brother and his wife did that yesterday here as they passed through on their way back home.

Fall down lately?

Dang it, how did you know that. I was trying to walk and talk last week and tripped over a large boulder and fell on my tail. No more than 10 people saw me do that. At least I can still get up quickly.

The next morning I went back to find and mark the boulder but I could only find a rock the size of a golf ball. Funny how those rocks roll away in the middle of the night. Sorta like those rocks on that dry lake down south.
