Thanks to begleytree, I recieved my Brand new Dolmar 5100S today. This is my first brand new saw. I just got home and only made a few cuts with it, but I can say that I am very impressed with this little powerhouse.
First things worth noting, the Antivibe mounts are just like a husky pro series with the springs. The old dolmars had horrible rubbers that needed replaced quite regular.
The saw has an inboard clutch just like a 372xp. Makes changing the rim and taking the chain on and off a breeze.
The air filter is up to date, compared to the old dolmar 115 thru 540 models. This thing is light and very powerful for what it is. I think Dolmar got this model right, but am kinda stumped to the similarities between a husky.
Add me to the PS5100S club. I will let this thing break in, then I'll probably order a muffler for it to see if I can sqeeze any more power out of it.
I'll get some pics up as soon as my computer gets back from the shop (hardrive took a crap....)
