alrite i got the f65 partnert hat mr. laney posted about. now my question .
it calls for out of date chain . can i just switch sprocket ,bar an chain ,to a more
easily aquired set up. it calls for a d 73 according to the collector corner.
also if the saw pans out ,what pitch,an gauge, chain would be best.its 65 cc
operates at 8000 rpm . i assume this is optimum torque rpm. thanks and also thanks to greg . ive got an old timer saw man lined up to do anything major.

You got yourself a good saw Tony:D The 73 is Oregon 3/8" pitch .058 guage and it is availible. I would stick with that and get whatever you prefer semi-chisel or full-chisel. 20" bar would be the biggest I'd run on it. Good luck!

thanks bud ,i hope so too . itll be the biggest ive owned or can imagine, i will need. thanks for the info.i am beginning to like the 5000 i picked up also.
