Got to "hang" with Tarzan!

So I lined up a few tree removals for Cody, and he came up Wednesday night. He stayed the night here, and Thursday morning, we went to my BIL's place, and Cody dropped a Fir. We left there and went to another buddies place, and Cody took down 2 Fir and a Larch.

It was pretty neat to watch him work! Very quick and smooth! I played groundy, and he did his Tarzan thing. He worked up all three trees in less than 4 hours. Got to run his ported 66 some w/ a 32" reduced weight. Pretty sweat saw, and about as loud as they come!

I pulled a bonehead move and forgot my camera, but luckily, some pictures and video were taken. I'll post them here once I get them.

Cody stayed over Thursday night again, and left this afternoon. It was an absolute hoot having him over for a few days! Uncle Jake (bigskyjake) came over for a couple beers/alky Thursday night too, and we all enjoyed some drinks and good conversation.

This pic was taken just before Cody left to go back home. I gotta funny look on my face because as my wife took the picture she says, "Jeez honey, you look huge next to Cody." LOL
Well shucks, I am a bit of a mutant. Hahaha

Well, he did say he wanted to train a monkey!

I haven't climbed with spurs since '99. . . I'd be too dang slow to get anything done. That, and I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

Yeah, it'd be sweet to line up a few days worth of work for Cody, and we could have a longer bull session.

oh hell yeah sign me up, in the mean time I might have to continue my crusade to reduce the chances of a nasty crown fire from snags and creating habitat for ground dwelling animals :jester:

the messed up thing is that I was actually for real sicker than a dog today, feeling ok now, itching to hit the woods bad
