Green stihl 045av

Anyone able to share how these green 045 s came about I've been given one in really good condition other then I'm guessing a points problem when hot, still has plate tag identification on top,

Armed forces issue, likely Army many makes of chainsaws were ,greened through the years to supply mostly the Army needs.

The Bundeswehr used them and ordered them in green. Possibly other armies around the world did too.
