I'm not sure of the age of the tool?!?
I also have the oregon bar rail dresser tool too! I will endeavour to get pics posted up over the next few days!

Hi Ax-man, it's been a while since I last looked at these pieces of kit and it appears that I was incorrect with what your tool was used for. it attaches to a drill and is used for grinding and levelling the guide rail. The only other other thing in my box for this tool is washers (spacers) for different bar thickness. The other tool shown in my pics is the bar rail closing tool with the different rail thickness shims. Sorry for the confusion!

Hey Tobystihl, thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. Your lucky to have both tools . There can't be many of these around.

You confirmed what I have always thought that the bar rail dresser used a drill to run that stone located in the middle of that tool.
