What kind of belt is it? Gates polycog?

Wow! I didn't realize they were that much. I've got an old 500 H, I sure hope the belt on it holds up a while. I guess there's nothing on these things that's reasonably priced.

When you get the new belt you might take it by an industrial supply house (like Motion Industries etc.) and see if they can match it up for you. If you come up with a reasonable alternative let us know.

I'm not sure what kind of belt it is, gates kinda sounds familar, but not sure. I know a supplier in another part of the state I will check with on a replacement...i was just wondering if anybody knew of a place that carried it....yeah $500 took me back a bit but like you said....nothing cheap on these things.....

Like said before, Motion Industries is a good place to check. I get all my belts/pulleys from them for MUCH less than the manufacturer wants for the same part number.

Do you have belt numbers for the 7015?

I'd have to did them up.

The bottom one is a Gates PolyCog belt. You can call Carlton and get the number from them. They want over $600 for it!! Think I paid like $350 from Motion.

The upper belt, they didn't have an exact match to I used one 1" longer than stock. Had to do a little modification to the engaging handle assembly but I think it's worth it as the longer belts are about half what Carlton wants for them. ($75 versus $150 iirc)
