Off the Subject But...

I needed one for a half wrap 084 handle. I took the full wrap one that had been cut on. Sprayed wd40 inside it repeatedly and kept a 360 rotation till I had it off.
Then had to do the same thing to put back on the other handle. Had handles mounted in a vise the whole time and just used my hands to twist.

Is that big 084 still running? Just curious. I have one that refuses to "idle" below 4500 RPM. Has huge compression and strong as an ox when it runs high end. Somebody told me that all it needs is a new Tillotson carb or a carb rebuild. I've checked for air leaks everywhere else and found nothing. WDYT?

I've used double sided sticky tape for regripping golf clubs. Put some turpintine on the tape and rubber and it will slide right on but you can't use it for a few hours or it will move.

I did the heater hose on an 041 handle over 20 years ago, Stihl working fine - cost 50 cents back then -
