A spring hook part/spring steel? Steel wire would straighten right out.

That is a factory Stihl tool designed to install the springs in Stihl clutches, it is made from spring or tool steel.

Yes it is a spring steel hook for removing clutch springs of large saws. Here's a pic of my other seal remover I made out of a screwdriver, too big to use on the 024
