funny!

John .....Take a deep breath.... Set the saw on the ground and drive the skidder over it... That should help fix it...... :) :)

.

Ultra, now that was just funny, i'm still chuckleing. And I can't even rep you.
:hmm3grin2orange:

Had a 262 that got me that flustered once John, deep breaths as Ultra suggests.

Have wanted to throw the wife like that more than once, but that's another story:heart:

Was it those non metric head bolts? It took me a while to figure that out on a 262 I was working on. GRRRRR

09's are fun 2

Yes.. after the fifth one... I actually like them... now..:biggrinbounce2:

had to pull the carb off of one for the first time to change the metering diaphram,,,the first time I put it back together had the throttle linkage in tha wrong hole on the carb and it was idling way too fast,,,,,, Grrrrrrr
take it back apart,,, put it back together,,,,, :bang: :bang: :bang:

Gypo.....it's your saw so do what you want

If you leave the piece in the handle it eventually finds it's way in between the trigger and the interlock and breaks the interlock and often leaves the saw with no throttle and unusable.

The toughest saw known to man to put back together has got to be the Homelight Super EZ. It's simply not worth the effort.

I should have followed your advice Pest, but Alas, I have it all back together now and don't have the intestinal fortitude to yank it all apart at this point.
Will report back tomorrow on how it performed, but I better take a backup to work. I'm just limbing and skidding tops and have about 60 cords on the landing now.

I'm almost ready to toss this bleedin' 346 out the window! The throttle linkage came out of the trigger end and do you think for the life of me I can get it back in???
I've tried to remain calm, I've had a drink to settle down and after about an hour of trying I still can't get it in. It's straight on the end of the linkage with a crimped end that slides in a hole I guess, but I can't find the freakin thing!! And I'm ready to lose it!
So laugh at me if you will, but I'd be greatly indebted to who ever can set me straight on this one before I go Rodger Dultry on it!

Yes, had to split my Homie 150 to fix it after Dad screwed it up. Never did get it together right, but it runs like a top, and it doesn't leak anymore.

Na. skidder might not break it... Throw it in the chipper. (I aways wanted to do that!:greenchainsaw: )

I didn't get to do this one, but here are the results when it happens...

That throttle idea on Husky's sucks!

Out in the field when it does that **** it really sucks!

I like linkages, there's always fencing wire around.

In 81' while on Vancouver Island doing tree spacing I saw a 266 catch on fire after repeated chainthrows that had chewed thru the tank of a 266.
Anyway, the guy tossed it for fear of an explosion, luckily it was raining and it didn't catch the woods on fire being in a pure stand of Doug Fir.
