OUCH!!!!

Daaaaaayyyyummmm how many times did they run over it.

John .....Take a deep breath.... Set the saw on the ground and drive the skidder over it... That should help fix it...... :) :)

.

Na. skidder might not break it... Throw it in the chipper. (I aways wanted to do that!:greenchainsaw: )

Nah, drop a rock maple on it!

Oooops! Guess thats not the way to mod a saw?

Hey I think I see a nut there that might still be usable! :D

The only thing I throw in da house is pizza dough but I have slammed a door or two ;)

I can see the Ebay ad now...

Awesome Husky 346xp...Was running fine before I loaned to a friend...

Now it needs some TLC but in you are handy you should be able to make a fine chainsaw out of this as it was running perfectly!

Collector saws can also give you a terrible headache before you can get them to run after several years of storage. Some run after a couple of hours work, but others need several days of tinkering, grrrrr.
I am working currently on a Stihl Contra that behaves like a mule...

If you get to the point of wanting to throw such a stubborn saw across the room, (I KNOW the feeling, LOL) I leave it alone for a few days and start all over when I'm in the mood again. :) :)

I really love them too much for throwing them through the room.:monkey:

Wow, that woodsman chipper must not have liked that saw! And I have to admit, I also thaught about what a saw would look like after being thrown in a chipper. But now I know! :greenchainsaw: :jawdrop: :hmm3grin2orange:  :ices_rofl:

Agree^^ :D

Looks like the Sthil is in bigger pieces than that there Husky (from what I hear on this site both are totally rebuildable if just one part survives (kinda like Mr. CN!)). :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

So, is it possible to make some sort of study (informal of course) on which chipper caused the worst catastropic failure and, which do ya guys think stood up better? *stir stir*
edit> any pics of the chipper blades? Just curious.

I've never thrown a saw before but did fire a snap on air chisel on the ground who's barrell(even with 262)would perpetually unscrew when in use.I then knelt down and whacked it with my 2lb ball peen on the case.It never broke but did bounce up and open a gash on my head:angry: .I then set it gently in the metal recycle bin.I try to excercise more restraint these days.As for the 346,throw it east:cheers:

The 346 really got up and talked today, even stuck on full throttle with that dohickey jammed inside the handle as Pest predicted. I'll try to smarten it up though, but not with a BMFH.
