How many of you have ever seen Chisholm in action... Watching Mark footlock up to a 60' tie in dropped my jaw and changed my life.... BIG TIME... thanks Mark!

mark came in third in the last ITCC and has won the event twice and placed in the top three pretty consistently over the last 5 years and been in the top ten for a decade or more... He does training and presentations etc.. Works in New Jersey for his family's business.... He's a great person too... greets everybody with a smile, an honest look in the eye and a sincere "how ya doin'?"

Fortunatly Mark met his wife here during the 94 ITCC. They visit her folks from time to time. He has come and done some training with us. Great guy. Learned lots from him. Yes his footlock is a science. Until he disected it for me, I footlocked poorly. I am getting better with practice. His rigging is unbelievable. Why cut and chuck when you can rig right into the chipper? If you get a chance to see him in action or better ground for him it is well worth any cost he may charge. A demo inside is one thing but a full day actually doing is another.

Treeslayer,\
Where are you dog.?
We just worked together on IVAn. Dude youd smoke this mark guy!
Cheers!

foot locking is no big deal imo its only a means of getting up a tree..the guys that realy count are the ones who can get right out to the tips of big spreading trees ;)

one of my freinds is 90'pole race world record holder,he sold his car to go to championship i doubt he'll ever do that again

B]Does he have a video?[/B]

I'd sure like to see it, if he does have one. I've spent a good deal of time lurking at the "other" forum, but I haven't seen any links to videos of him or any other people footlocking into trees.

It would seem there must be videos of these guys footlocking at tree climbing championships, among other competitive activities, but I've yet to find them. Maybe you gotta be a member of ISA or TCIA to find them.

I'd also like to get my hands on Gerry Beranak's videos. I haven't been able to find them either.

Chucky

I've never met Mark or seen him climb in person but FWIW he comes across as a gentleman and NOT arrogant in his postings over at "his house" -the buzz.

I met him at the Paul Bunyan Show last month. Seems like a really down to earth and likeable guy. He did a demo but it was really basic.

Flying further off course.....

It was the 2004 SSA Annual Conference site. Yesh, lots of great climbing spots for rocks and trees.

I havent seen him work, but right now I'm workingwith Dan Kraus and he is amazing, I'm guessing he and Mark would be considered peers, Dan is also a super nice guy.

He sure is. But his posting on AS is a little low. Is it still his morning routine over breakfast?
