I'm sorry to inform you that we only run saws that take a sun dial to time them. If you would like to run against some saws that might be faster please feel free to take a trip to PensilKentucky in a few weeks. But those saws are slow tooo.
I'm still working on the Lazer Beem saw. All timber cut seems to burn up..
So Tell us about that slick saw you run?? Who built it?? whats your fastest time, Do you cold start the saw?? Beer is optional.
Later,
Chris
Interesting day at work, Almost fell off latter, gulf cart barried, locked keys in truck, Instructed by supervisor to sit in chair and don't touch anything. So this is a saw less day for me.
If you want to race, I would suggest that a good place to start is the Webster County Woodchopping Festival in Webster Springs, West Virginia over Memorial Day weekend. This is one of the premier contests in the eastern US for modified production saws (motorcycle saw aren't allowed) Winning time for 3 cuts in 12" yellow poplar, cold start, will most likely be under 4.5 seconds. This is a good place to find out about other shows. It is relatively close to you, in terms of Lumberjack contest distances. It is a fun show to watch, too. Many of the best choppers in the world are there. Your unbeatable theory will be tested, that's for sure.
God ???? i must be good , I see you said that you found this place from me, Sorry Bud donot know anybody in Lebanon Ohio but it's your story so carry on.
We may listen but seens your story most likely will not hold much water , we may just pass on it
Your darn tooting this is where the fast saw are !!!!
Just ask any of us will tell ya.
Saying you have a 3120 that can't be beat? I'd say your going to have your plate full with that statement!
I'm sure that's going to have to be proved?
Was this 3120 born in Ohio.
as far as fast saws here , we have one and Chris is the operator and it is also a stroker 021, so talk to Chris and get together and see who has the fastest saw
Anyone ever think that there might be some chain pulling going on here? Anti Social Pooch seems to have carefully included every bit of bait that he could find in his post.
Hello .To start with this is not a joke.I bought this saw from Cliff Helsel. He built the saw that won the national hot saw jn 2003 He built the saw that won Kapaskasing,The saw that won at Mindon he also worked on that saw. That tough show in Mindon you talk about. The saw that won Minden took 5th at Mio Mi.It followed 4 of Cliffs saws.We will be at Charden Ohio April 17 I talked to Cliff and he said he wants you to have Chris and EHP To show up and he will run my saw.So does this story hold water. Please dont let your frends down.
Hi Ed, Susie is gone to get her hair done, so it's boys night out too.
I have phoned 5 AB members already and all I get is their answering machine, so that is cool, I kilt 5 birds with one stone.
John
well u aint scaring me much..
i measure what the saw gets done in
say 4 hrs not 3 cuts.. u beat me doing that.. then u beat me,,and u are good.. 3 cuts just aint my game..have a great day brother..
Couldn't find Charden, OH, are you sure it isn't Chardon. If so, that is close to me, I'd like to come. What kind of contest is it, just chainsaws or is hand sawing and chopping involved? It is tough to find the contests, epecially when you are getting started. I've been competing for 4 or 5 years, I live a couple of hours from Chardon, and I didn't know they had a contest.
