Ok lets cut to the chase is their going to be a good old fashion cowboy shoot out or is this just another BS chat session?

No one here would ever BS. Do you think hip boots are needed or ear plugs from people tooting there own horn. I think you should put it in your schedule to come run at Dans and prove your the Man or Lady (Gotta be politicaly Correct after sensitivity training)

Later,
Chris

What do you mean you've never heard of my saw. It's the saw that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs! I've outrun Imperial saws, not the local bulk Poulans, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian saws now. She's fast enough for you, old man." She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself. :sword:

12 parsecs? A parsec is a linear unit buddy. (~3.258 light-years). Don't let movie-lingo muddy the waters of science on this forum Jack-ass.

Just for the record
1 Parsec = 3.08568025 × 10 to the 16th power meters
A parsec is defined as the distance from the Sun which would result in a parallax of 1 second of arc as seen from Earth, where ly is a light-year. The word "parsec" is an abbreviation and contraction of the phrase "parallax second." Since distances of nearby objects can be determined directly using parallax observations combined with elementary geometry, the parsec was historically used to express the distances of astronomical objects from the Earth. This tendency has been carried over to some extent so that distances to objects are still often expressed in units of parsecs instead of light-years.

Why someone would insult another person by calling them a Jack-Ass eludes me. If it was intended as a jest as was my lighthearted Star Wars comment then I suggest you find a less offensive word. If it was meant as an insult then I suggest you need to reconsider the time your folks spent rearing you and act appropriatly.

I think Simon uses the term jack-ass as a playful term of endearment.
