A customer gave me a box of goodies which includes some old Pioneer and McCulloch parts still in the original packaging, along with some other odds and ends. In the box are about 10 or so brand new in the package Hitachi M44 spark plugs. They are a larger plug than a typical chainsaw takes. I can't find any cross reference on the internet. I have yet to even find Hitachi plugs on the internet. Since these were in with older saw parts, I'm assuming they might fit an older saw. Anyone know anything about M44 Hitachi plugs? A cross reference to a more common brand part number would be very helpful. Are they worth anything (other than as a sprak plug)?

Okay, so they did (shows how much I know). The Champion website calls for the champion plug N19V in the Harley Snowmobile, which is equivalent to the NGK BUE. Neither of those part numbers mean much to me.

So, throw them on ebay? Use them in my tractor? Wish there was a way to reverse search the applications a champion N19V is used on.

Harley made a snowmobile?
I had a buddy who worked in the engineering department at a place that made Harley golf carts...

Reverse search N19v

Cool. Since I don't own any of those things, maybe I should put them on ebay and and link this reverse search to it.

Thanks Ray.

Hitachi plugs came in the 1st honda and yamaha small bikes imported to the usa. 50's, 70's 80's etc. M44, 45, 46's were common heat ranges used, believe they were a 10mm plug. Their only value now would be for someone doing a resto.
