Any one else do this?
We have a handful of clients that we decorate large trees, houses, ect.. with the bucket truck. No biggie, it's about a weeks worth of work that pays decent. Keeps the guys busy at the end of the season and our clients love it. I was thinking about expanding/maybe even advertising on this. For the record, I hate it - tangled strings and whatnot.. My guys did it this year because I had estimates to do.. :msp_tongue:

Lol, I was coming from Willoughby Hills doing exactly this when I decided to stop in and awkwardly introduced myself!

Back in the day when I worked for Davey we did this kind of stuff this time of year. I always thought it was kind of fun and if people are still paying for it in this economy, you should definately be taking advantage of it!

LoL! just started a thread in oft saying I met a couple guys from AS this weekend.. good meeting ya Mike!
Yeah we've had the same decorating clients for years, I'm not a big fan of it but I think it could be expanded on

last year we decorated a 90 ft fir in mt. baldy. It took 4 climber's 4 hours to drape that tree in lights. We used wire ties to secured the lights. It was pretty impressive from off in the distance.d
Anything that'll pay the bills is good. I have been seeing signs around town of someone offering to do it. Says there insured and reliable. There you go, what more could you ask for?

I hate christmas lites lol

Check out brite ideas -- they have software you can do your designs on, with a pic of your clients home so they can see what it would look like. There's a place around here that makes even more money doing that, by storing all their clients lights at their facility -- that way the customer doesn't have to deal with any part of it at all.
