Waiting on this saw to arrive in the mail as a parts saw for the C71. It is a C52 that supposedly runs on prime.Picked these 2 this morning for $35. The XL 102 is quite clean and should be a runner with little effort. Cant believe these are 57cc in such a small frame!!
The C71 unfortunately has a pretty bad case of "white death". It seems to be confined to the top of the saw and the cases have been saved. It will need the airbox/rear handle replaced as well as the air filter cover. It also looks as if it had little use. But appears it sat somewhere with moisture getting to it from the top which seems odd.
Seems not a lot of parts around for this, what models will interchange?
This is listed locally, what homelite is this?
Does anyone have any piston rings for a homelite 410 that would be for sale or any place I could find some

Maybe a 500 Homelite? It looks to have a tag on the right side.

Looking at your C's, I just went out and put a shot of mix in my C72. It fired right up. Put about a quarter tank in and no luck. This one has a small bell over the carb throat. I think this is only the second saw I've seen this little cap on. I assume it's to help keep dirt out? Or, to calm down turbulence going in?
I meant to ask, what is that little bell for. I'm sure over the years I've had over a hundred bigger Homelites, and I think this one and a Zip are the only two I've seen one on?

I believe they are spitback caps.

That is a spur sprocket drum, I don't think you will find a rim to fit it. I'd look for a drum designed for rim sprockets.

The attached pdf file will help. I'm a little reluctant to quote a PN as there was quite a bit of mix and match at Homelite at times.
It's likely an obsolete part that Oregon doesn't carry anymore.
Thak you sir, I have that file just didn't know what 1 of the two to get.
An older Oregon one I have for which most of the PN's don't match the new stuff indicates one for a 5/8" sprocket bearing and one with a 1/2" bearing.
You may want to check and see if yours has the .625" bearing (crank diameter where the bearing rides). Being a blue and white version it might have a 1/2" bearing.
I see the 30666 version is for the larger crankshaft.
I see lil red barn has one on Amazon.
You could try these guys in Florida as well but you may not get the bearing.
