Yeah, if that had of been a C92 I'd be driving down with some trading stuff. I've got a couple XL 900 series on the back burner. I need a C9 series.

That might explain why I couldn't find any C92 info also.Hey is there a C-92 model from Homelite? I can't find any actual info or pictures of one.
I just picked this C-91 up last night.
Homelite enthusiast in training.
The throttle lock certainly helped and I added it to both of them.Wish I could start mine!
I had a c91g. It was pretty much like a Mac 650 power wise (not the more modern Mcbrick) powerwise. It pulled a 36" bar buried in old growth, quite nicely. I sold it to another member.Acres does not list one. I'd happily settle for a 91G
What does the tag show as a model number? I recall a discussion years back questioning if any of these saws were ever identified a G models on the tag or decal. The gear cover would be a straightforward add-on for a dealer.
The tag was missing when I bought the saw. Bill G. wanted to see the tag as well. The geardrive clutch cover had the same wear as the rest of the saw. I assumed the saw came with it new. Was it dealer installed and not factory? What does the tag show as a model number? I have a sugar creek in one of my 7-29's with the same issueGot these going today. A 5-30 and 17, both early models. The 17 gave me fits getting it to move fuel. I had a Sugar Creek kit in it and the fuel chamber would never fill up. I came across a couple NOS Tillotson metering diaphragms and installed one. Saw took right off with that.

Doesn't the 17 just have a Tilly carb? I know both 17's I've seen had Tilly's and last I checked you could still buy kits for those new from Tillotson.Got these going today.
